The Nigerian Community in Oregon and Southwest Washington (NCOSWA) is a not-for-profit organization whose members live and work in Oregon and Southwest Washington, USA.

NCOSWA is an association of Nigerians, Nigerian-Americans and friends of Nigeria founded to fund and engage in activities to meet specific goals and objectives.  Established in 1985, NCOSWA serves as the heartbeat of the Nigerian community in this part of the United States.

  • Summer Picnic
    The Summer Picnic takes place on Saturday August 7, 1pm to 7pm at Grant Park NE 33rd and Grant, Portland, OR.
    There will be lots of games and plenty to eat.
    NCOSWA will provide hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken, water and punch. Please bring dishes to share and chairs.

    Our next monthly meeting takes place on Saturday July 31 at 6pm. Lots of interesting items on the agenda. See you there!

    The NCOSWA annual banquet takes place on Saturday October 30 at the Holiday Inn, Portland Airport.
